Position Vacant: Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist

Calling all occupational therapists and physiotherapists who love working in hand therapy. What do you think about…..a good work-life balance, tree change and a career! Tired of long clinic hours? Looking for a hand therapy role with reasonable finishing times, good money and the ability to provide much needed therapy to appreciative patients?

We are looking for a therapist with initiative, a friendly personality, good skills in splinting and skills to assess and treat a wide variety of hand injuries and conditions. We work closely with local plastic and orthopaedic surgeons and are an award-winning practice, operating for the past 12 years.

Some of the benefits:

  • Salary pay with annual leave
  • Free and wide-ranging training opportunities with yearly training allowance
  • Regular internal in-services and mentoring for clinical skill development
  • Support from senior therapists, experienced manager, or become one yourself!
  • Opportunity to be involved in additional activities such as research, teaching and developing additional services for the practice.
  • Comprehensive support from our friendly administration team
  • Flexibility with working hours to suit your lifestyle
  • Located in Wagga Wagga (half way between Sydney and Melbourne) – big enough for all your shopping, coffee and eating needs, but small enough to be part of a community (yes we have Myer, Bunnings, and yes, we even have Kikki-K!). Close to ski fields and wineries, and great for waterskiing, camping, sports, cycling, and participating in the annual ‘float down the river on a tractor innertube’ event. Wagga has a lot to offer!

“I have been working with Amy at Riverina Hand Therapy for nearly 3 years and I love it. Riverina Hand Therapy has provided me with a range of career opportunities from teaching, developing skills in specialised areas, research and broadening my knowledge. I love that I come to work and each day is different, offers a caseload with variety, and I get to spend it with appreciative patients.” Abbey Philpott, Occupational Therapist
